Who We Are

Chi Alpha is a Christian student organization aimed at fulfilling the Biblical principles of spreading the message of Christ to every corner of the Earth and gathering together with other Christians for worship and fellowship. Although we’re affiliated with and funded by the Assemblies of God church, we welcome all students. In short, we believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and that if we believe that He is the only way to Heaven and confess our sins to Him, we will be saved. It’s all in the Bible, and we recognize that it’s the Word of God and should be used as a guidebook for our lives.

The Great Commission given to the disciples by Jesus was for them to “…go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” This command is one of the main things we do in Chi Alpha. We believe that our purpose on this earth is to spread the Gospel, and we do outreach events as a group as well as making the act of witnessing a part of our daily lives.

Fellowship and worship are two other concepts emphasized throughout the Bible. We meet weekly for worship, a message, and fellowship. It’s a lot of fun, and we would love to have you join us either for a Wednesday night meeting or one of the many other events we do.
