Welcome back for another great semester of school and Chi Alpha! We’re really excited about our meetings this semester and we have some great stuff to share with you guys.

We want to make sure you know that we’re meeting in a new room this semester. We’ll be in Human Sciences room 169. The Human Sciences building is across the street from the SUB, right next to the Child Development Research Center. Check out the map below for more information, and to see where you can park if you’re coming from off-campus.

Our first meeting will be Thursday, January 19th at 7:00 PM, and we’ll be meeting on that day and time for the whole semester. Hope to see you there, and let us know if you have any questions!

Hey everyone, instead of our normal Monday night Kaleo meeting, we’ll be going to the South Plains Fair to work at a booth helping people make Power Bands. A Power Band is a little bracelet with colored beads symbolizing the salvation message, and it’s a great opportunity to evangelize to people. We’ll be working at it Monday and Friday evening, so if you’re interested, please contact us and we’ll get you scheduled to help!

Kaleo (a group we partner with) is having their Bible study and discussion at J&B Coffee at 8:00 PM on Monday night. We’ll be having a time of worship followed by an in-depth discussion of spiritual issues. If you need directions, send us an email. Otherwise, we’ll see you there!

Hey everyone, just a reminder that our worship meeting this week is on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 PM. We’re meeting in room 75 of the Business Administration building. See you there!

Hey everyone! We’re going on our fall retreat this weekend, and we thought we’d put some information up for those of you who are going.

We’ll be going to Jayton, TX which is about an hour and a half away from Lubbock. We’re going to leave from Christian Life Assembly at 6:00 PM. Christian Life is located at 5917 66th Street, and you can see a map here.

We will be there until Sunday at around noon, and we should be back in Lubbock in the early afternoon. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and we’ll also have worship services. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your fellow XA students better and get recharged spiritually.

If you’re new here and don’t know where the BA (Business Administration) building is, it’s one of the tallest buildings on campus and a lot of students say it looks like a calculator. It’s right next to Flint Avenue, and next to the English building. It’s west of the Student Union Building. We’re meeting in room 75, which is in the basement–so if you go down the stairs and make a right, our room will be right there.
